Nothing important...........

Well, we had a pretty good weekend. Friday (I start with Friday because I didn't have to keep Zack Friday and it seemed like my weekend started then) we went to the library for story time. They really enjoyed Laura reading the books to them. Then after we left there we went to Tupelo and walked around in the mall. Then we went to see David's dad. He's doing really well. Uh, the only thing we really did Saturday was go to Wal-Mart with my mom. Then yesterday we went to church and after we went to Los Compadres. I love that restaurant! :) I was so tired last night I couldn't wait to just lay down on the sofa. That's so pitiful, I know, but that's my wind down time...getting on the couch and falling asleep (aaah, wish I could do that right now!) haha.

Well, David's dad had his surgery Monday. Everything went well. He's supposed to come home today. So that's good news! Olivia is pulling on my arm screaming "MOMMY" so I guess that's about all for now! :{

Early morning riser.

Well, we had a pretty good weekend. I know it's sad, but right now I can't for the life of me remember what we did Friday night. Oh yeah, we rented a movie! haha...It was A Night With the King. I think that's the name of it....about Queen Esther. It was pretty good. A little hard to follow if you ask me, but still pretty good. Then Saturday night we went to Tupelo to take David's mom and dad something and decided to go to Peppers. We ran into Laura and Erick there and ate with them. It was fun to get to talk for a while, even if we did have the wild children with us ;) David's dad is having surgery today. I really hope everything goes good. It's 5:28 am. I am up and ready for the baby to get here. I don't do mornings. Ah.

On the Mend.

Well, I think we're finally on the mend. I took the girls back to the doctor yesterday and got some antibiotics and we've been fever free for almost a day now...so I think it's almost over. And believe me I am so glad! I am sick of us being sick! :) I like it when we're well. Very well. Anyway, Happy Valentines Day to everyone! Hope you have a great day! Wonderful, wonderful...

Well, this has been a very bad weekend. Ugh.
We have all been sick. And are still all sick. I'm feeling
better. I no longer have a fever but still have the cold thing
going on. Olivia and Madison still have fever. It goes up and
we give them meds and it goes down, then back up again.
David no longer has fever but is still mostly in bed with the
flu. I really hope we are all well soon! I'm tired of the sickness!
AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) OK, I'm
glad I got that out! :)

Still sick

OK--David has the flu. So that's probably what I've got. I hope not.
I feel bad though. Hope you all have a great weekend. I doubt we will.

Sick.

Uh, I am sick today. Actually, it hit me yesterday but it really hit me late last night. I guess it's just a cold, but I have a low grade temp. That's what is making me feel so bad. I really hope I don't give it to the girls or the baby. My whole body is aching.........ahhh..

Prissy

Here is our newest addition to the Paden family. Isn't she cute? She's a great Pyrenees. These kind of dogs get VERY big. But they are very good with kids and very protective of them. We wanted one for Olivia and Madison. She already seems to love them. We're keeping her in the house for a few days until she gets used to us and everything around here. And until David can get her somewhere to stay built. Olivia had to name her Prissy. She loves that name. I don't even know where she got it from. She already looks almost as big as they do.

I know I've fallen behind on my blogging and commenting...sorry. I stay so busy with the girls and the baby. I found out today that I will have Fridays off after this week for a while because their work is slow...so that should give me a little extra time :)

This is Madison's big girl bed. She loves it. She's doing really well with it. She does come and get in our bed some though. But Olivia still does that some too. Maybe when they get to be 10 or 11 they'll stop..:)

The Paden Bakery

Olivia and I made cookies last night. If you look closely, you can see the one we cut out in the shape of her hand. It was fun, but the cookies didn't taste too good. Madison kept taking David cookies and wanting him to eat them...he said, "I think I've about had all I can take, sweetie." haha! In the picture she was mad because we wouldn't give her a cookie until we took the picture! That's one of her fits! We had fun.

Today.....................

Well, things are running pretty smoothly now. I don't want to jinx myself, but I'm actually enjoying keeping him. Well, nothing much else going on! :)

Better!

Well, today has gone much smoother than yesterday. And right now they are ALL 3 asleep! Wow! :) Anyway, I'm glad it's better today. I don't even feel stressed right now! I hope everyone has a great day!

TIRED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, today was my first day of keeping Zack. He's (I think) 7 weeks old this week. He was very good. He slept most of the day...we had a few mishaps...spitting up...stuff like that. But nothing I'm not used to. And Olivia spilled chocolate milk on our couch. Does anyone know what to put on it to get it out? I pretty much got the stain out with Resolve carpet cleaner, but now it feels really hard and rough where I sprayed it. Maybe I didn't scrub it off good? I don't know...I just hate that kind of thing... :)

I was really stressed when they came to pick him up. But we went to my parents' for supper and I got to rest some and de-stress (I know that's not a word). Maybe b/c I'm not used to getting up at 4:45 in the morning? :0 That was rough. And the girls were kind of in awe of the baby today, so they were all over him. So I had to constantly watch them to make sure they didn't hurt him. I know that will get better with time. It was a pretty good day though. I am now tired and am going to lay down on the couch and wait for David to get home from school! Goooooooood Niigghhttttttt!

In the morning.

Well, in the morning (EARLY) is my first day to keep the baby. So, wish me luck! Well, maybe patience is a better wish. haha....not patience for him but for my own 2. Because I know they're gonna be so crazy about him the first few days that they won't leave him alone. Well, if I don't get in the bed I'll sure enough be tired tomorrow. Good night!

Some bad news.

Well, we found out yesterday that David's dad has prostate cancer. They said it's in the early stages, so hopefully they caught it in time. They're going to do surgery in a couple of weeks and then he'll have radiation. David took it very well. Usually, when his dad gets sick (which he has been quite a bit in the past few years...open heart surgery and everything) David gets really upset. His dad is like his hero. But he took this very well. I'm glad. I just hope he'll be OK.

Disappointed..

I wish I could give good advice. I was called tonight...someone really needed good advice. And I really didn't know what to say. I would never make it as a counselor. I would probably just sit there and look at the person and not know what advice to give them. I'm in a down mood tonight. I guess you can tell b/c I changed my blog to a dark color. Blah.............

Hair washing...not a good sight at my house..

Well, is it just my girls or what? Every time I give them a bath they scream and cry when I wash their hair. Maybe I'm just not a good hair washer. Do any of your babies or girls cry when they get their hair washed?

Sisters...

The girls were watching TV today and I walked into the living room and found them sitting close like this. I think it's so sweet. I had to take a picture. Even though it turned out blurry...

I always wanted a sister. I hope they are close always.

Different.

Well, I was playing around with our new family blog...look to the right for the link (The Paden Page), and I found that you can change the color of your blog. I'm not sure if I really like it this or not, but it'll do for now. I created the Paden Page so I could keep friends and family updated without my ramblings...if that's possible :) but I will keep this one to write my thoughts (and ramblings) down in. Soo, that's about it for now!

Today.

Well, Olivia had a 'playdate' today. She and Brian get along better than most of the other boys and girls that have ever played with her. They're both really rough too, so I guess that's one reason they like to play. They love to climb up on things and jump off. Makes me very nervous! Anyway, I thought this was a cute picture. Madison looks kind of amused at them.
