Gulf Shores trip!

We went to Gulf Shores, AL last week on a much needed and enjoyed vacation! Here are just a few pictures from our trip. The girls had a blast! And so did the parents :)

5th Anniversary!

Well, today is 5 years that David and I have been married. I've been trying to find pictures of us through the years. It's hard to get them all uploaded and everything...but here are a few that I found...

Not sure when this one was taken...but I know it was before we had kids!

It has been a great 5 years and I look forward to many, many more! In this 5 years...we got married...I went through nursing school...David working on preaching school...had 2 kids...expecting another...bought a house...I guess we've had plenty of excitement! :) Thanks David! I love you!

Sick!

Ugh, I'm sick today. I hate being sick when I'm pregnant because I can't take just any kind of medicine. I like taking Nyquil at night because it helps me really sleep :) but no Nyquil for me! The doctor did say that I can take any kind of cold and flu medicine...so I have Tylenol Cold I'm taking. But I can't take medicine during the day because any kind (even non-drowsy) makes me sleepy. Oh well!

We're having a girl! We're excited. I mean, yeah, we kinda wanted a boy this time, but we're happy with a girl! We know all about girls now anyway! :)

Only 1 more week til vacation! YAY! We're going to Gulfport, AL (I think). Somewhere on the coast of Alabama anyway (haha, David has it planned). I'm just ready to go!

Well, I finally got a new camera...so now I can take more pictures! The bad thing is that I was playing around with it and deleted all the pictures I had on my memory card from the old camera...so all the Easter pictures I took are gone :( But on a brighter note, here is a picture I took tonight. I'm trying to get a video that I made from my camera on here...but it's taking forever, so I don't know if I'll ever get it posted.

For some reason, it seems that this week has been so long. Olivia had a bad rash that started Monday. Tuesday David took her to the doctor and she said it was from a food allergy. It was a bright red rash all over her body. So now she's on prednisone (steroid) for 6 days. It has made her wild! I think it's made her more hungry too...she usually doesn't eat anything and she's been begging for ice cream in the morning! Haha...maybe she'll actually gain a little weight this week!

Doctor Visit!

I went back to the doctor Friday. Everything is going good! I heard the heartbeat and everything. We go back to find out if we're having a boy or girl on May 11th!

We did get to go to the Railroad Festival Friday evening. We just stayed for about an hour because it was so windy and chilly. And it looked like it could start pouring down rain at any moment. So we cut it short and went to the mall in Tupelo. I did take a few pictures of them on the little train ride at the Railroad Festival. For some reason it scared Olivia. Every time the train would come around to where we were she would hold up her arms to us trying to get us to take her out. Luckily it didn't last long. She usually loves rides like that. Maybe it was because of the BLARING loud music that was right beside the train ride. I don't know. But back to Monday now. Good ole Monday. Weehoo. :)

These are a few pictures that I took with my new cell phone. Oh, I forgot to tell ya'll, I got a new camera phone! We got them last week. I used Bluetooth to send it from my phone to David's laptop and then saved it on my laptop through my email. Ah! I miss my camera! Anyway, this will have to do for now.

Well, my 7:00 turned into my usual 5:30. It turns out that I did have to keep him today...so I'm sleepy as usual. It looks really gloomy and chilly outside. I don't know if we'll get to go to the Railroad Festival or not. It's really windy too. I hope it warms up soon!

Just junk...

Well, I hope to get to sleep until at least 7 in the morning....AAHH! I need sleep! :)
Zack isn't coming tomorrow...so if my chickadees will sleep, that means I can too...unless I wake up anyway. That's just my luck! We get to go to the Railroad Festival tomorrow too! YAY! I don't know why I like to go. We hardly ever buy anything. I just like to go for some reason! I guess we can let Olivia and Madison ride the little train. Olivia loved it last year.

For all you that have been pregnant before...when is the normal time to start wearing maternity clothes? I already have been wearing some around the house b/c they're more comfortable. I'll probably have outgrown all my pants in a few weeks. But it's probably just because I'm getting fatter...not b/c of the baby. Who knows. Anyway, I don't want to feel like ppl think I'm a freak b/c I'm already wearing them. I'm 14 1/2 weeks. That's what...uh...3 1/2 months. That's pretty early. Maybe I can wait until I'm at least 16 weeks(4 months).

Even though my camera is broken (CRY) we did have a good Easter weekend. Thursday night we spent the night with David's mom and dad. Then Friday we went through Amory before going home to get the girls' pictures that we had made a few weeks ago at Wal-Mart there. They are really sad (the pictures). The girls are smiling so big that they look crazy. Anyway, then we went to Pizza Hut and ate lunch. Kids under 3 eat free...so we only have to pay for mine and David's meal during buffet! :) Then we went to Fulton and got a movie. We rented The Pursuit of Happyness. It was really good. Then we had lots of company come by that night to visit the girls (just family mostly) and finally made it to bed. I was exhausted. Saturday we had an egg hunt at church (see pictures below) and then had a quiet (well, as quiet as possible with 2 monkeys) night at home. We did color eggs Friday night and Saturday night. The girls both loved it! Olivia's hands were green both times afterward. She didn't care though. Then yesterday after church we had an egg hunt and lunch at my aunt Kathy's house. That's when I broke my poor little camera. :( Wendy (my cousin) took it apart but it was too far gone to fix. The girls had a ball and then last night Olivia went home with Mama to spend the night. Madison and I have had a wonderful morning here alone. We slept late because I didn't have to keep Zack today. We've been playing and rocking and all her favorite things, LOL. I think she likes being the only one to get attention. Well, me and Mama and the girls are going to the sale in Red Bay today so I've gotta go get ready! Have a good day everyone!

Well, I would have lots more cute Easter pictures to post from yesterday...but I broke my camera right before the egg hunt. Wonderful, I know. I still have my memory card..but can't do anything with it here. David said he'll buy me another one. Don't know when. Until then, I'll just do without taking pictures. Waahh!

Well, the cold has returned. I was loving that warm weather. This just stinks!

Anyway, I only keep Zack 1/2 a day today..and we're going to spend the night with David's mom
and dad tonight. We have an Easter egg hunt at church Saturday and then another Sunday afternoon at my aunt's house. The high Saturday is supposed to be 49 according to the weather this morning. It is gonna be COLD hunting eggs in 40 degree weather. Sad, just sad.

Another weird dream...

As I said before, I've been having the strangest dreams since I've been pregnant...especially the past 2 weeks. Saturday night I dreamed that I had a baby boy (but in the dream he was already about 6-7 months old). He had blonde hair (I don't think any of my children will ever have blonde hair...it's just not in my family). We had named him William Potter Paden. That's what David insisted that we name him. We were calling him Potter. I don't know why I would dream something like that! I was very concerned that people would call him Pot. LOL At least me and David were married this time! :)

Well, we're back! We got back around 10:30 last night. 5:10 came really quick this morning! We had a pretty good time. We really didn't have time to do anything but funeral stuff (except we did go to church). We drove and drove and drove. The girls did really good though. They slept alot of the time that we were driving.

The rodeo was pretty good Friday night. It wasn't exactly professional. On of the bull rides they did didn't have a winner, LOL. None of them stayed on until the buzzer went off! But we had a good time. Olivia loved watching it. Now it's back to normal life! It's supposed to get cold again this week, BLAH! I was hoping it wouldn't get cold like that anymore! Maybe this will be the last time!

Well, today has been a good day. We went outside about 1:30 and stayed for an hour or so. It's so hot out there! But I still like it! :)

We found out last night (well, for sure today) that we're going to make a quick trip to Missouri tomorrow and come back Sunday night. David lived there a few years ago (well, probably about 10 years ago) and someone passed away and wanted him to do the funeral. So we're leaving in the morning to go to Poplar Bluff, Missouri. It will be a long trip with the girls, I'm sure, but any trip is better than none! Oh, and we're going to the rodeo tonight at the BancorpSouth Arena! YAY! Have a great weekend!

Weird dreams and such..

Well, it has been so beautiful outside the past week or so. I just love it. I can't say that enough.

I too, have been having the strangest dreams. I contribute mine to my pregnancy. The other night I dreamed that David and I remembered that we had forgotten to get married. So he wanted to have a wedding, and I was like, "But what will everyone think? They thought we've been married all this time." LOL I was glad to wake up after that one. Then last night I dreamed that I only had 2 weeks of being pregnant left and I hadn't even started wearing my maternity clothes yet. Yeah right! :) I already am gonna have to start wearing them soon. I will be glad when the weird dreams stop.

My weekend and morning..long and boring but oh well! :)

Well, the weekend went very well! We did go to Tupelo Friday night (after a late start) but regardless.... We went to Los Compadres in Fulton to eat first! I LOVE to eat there! Then we went to the hospital and visited with Karen and Audrey for a while. She's doing better. I still don't know when she will come home though. I need to call.. Then we went to good ole Wal-Mart and got a few things.

Saturday we got up early and went to a few yard sales. Then went to the New 2 U consignment sale in Tupelo. I spent a little over $16. This is what I got for that: 2 maternity shirts that look new, a maternity dress that looks new, 2 Barney movies, a Barney bathtoy and BJ bathtoy, a cute outfit and hat for Madison. Mama also got Olivia a shirt and Madison a dress. I love going to those consignment sales! Anyway, then we had a birthday party to go to. It was the older brother of the baby that I keep. It went well except when Olivia pushed down a little 1 year old boy. She's so rough! AH! Anyway...then Saturday evening me and Mama and the girls got Subway sandwiches and took them to the park. They played for probably 1 1/2 - 2 hours on that playground! They were SO nasty when we left!

Then yesterday we went to church and then since David didn't have to study to preach for last night (we had services somewhere else and someone else preached) we went to the Whitten center and walked the trails and went out on the pier. It was so warm and pretty! I am so glad the warm weather is here. I know I've said that a million times!

Well, this morning both the girls woke up at 6 and Zack has not been happy all day...so today is not going as well as I had hoped. But hopefully it will get better!
